DJ Bedz – Hard to see, easy to listen to

He sits among the rafters of the Pepsi Center, with the Coors blimp his main company, but his view of the Nuggets games are pretty sweet indeed. DJ Bedz, aka White Shadow, is still pumping out great music to entertain the Denver Nuggets crowds. In his 6th season with the Pepsi Center, Bedz who’s real name is Cassidy Bednark seems to be just what the crowds… now bigger than ever, at Denver Nuggets NBA games want to hear. Born right here in Boulder Colorado, DJ Bedz helps keep the energy flowing throughout the game and makes sure the crowd stays pumped up as they help the Nuggets maintain one of the biggest home-court advantages in the NBA. Keeping the “Mile High” loudness going is not just cool, it can often mean the difference in winning or not… something Bedz takes very seriously.
However, lest you think the public is all he controls, DJ Bedz, and David Lopez a.k.a. DJ Psycho, control the music you hear inside Pepsi Center from their turntables high above the crowd, including all the tracks for warm-ups, timeouts and big plays during the game. He also works closely with the directors of the Nuggets Dancers and Cheerleaders and provides their performance tracks as well.
In addition to his Pepsi Center control booth, Bedz has produced so many CD mixes that it would be hard to list them all in this article. Go here, to get a sense of the music of DJ Bedz.
Outside of Pepsi Center, DJ Bedz is a featured mixer and on-air personality at 107.1 One FM seven days a week. Bedz can also be heard on his weekly national radio program, “White Shadow Radio,” on Raw 66 / XM Satellite Radio. When he’s not putting in work for the Nuggets or on the radio, you can probably catch DJ Bedz at one of Colorado’s nightlife hot spots or working on his next hip-hop Mix CD. Bedz has collaborated with the likes of Ice Cube, Lil’ Scrappy, Petey Pablo, and Fatman Scoop on his mixes, thus earning him the title “Mixtape King of Colorado”. His website, DJBedz.Com keeps his many fans constantly updated on his music and live performances.
On a side-note, DJ Bedz was honored with a front-page story regarding his support of SafeHouse Denver, by giving 100% of proceeds from the sale of his Mix CDs, purchased at Independent Records, to SafeHouse Denver.
