Nuggets Clippers Leap Year

Tonight Mr. BigShot Billups returns to Denver as the Los Angeles Clippers look to snap the Nuggets’ six-game winning streak. Obviously Blake could make January 29th the true “Leap Year” contest if not contained.

With Gallo’s contract in the books and the Nuggets looking to roll a lucky 7 tonight, the Clippers had better bring their best. This will be a key game for both teams.

Ty didn’t play last Friday and said his ankle is better. That’s good news since Chris Paul seems to have some good games when playing in Denver. The Nuggets though are more and more exploring their deep bench. The ability to pull fresh legs… and quality fresh legs at that is huge.

If this were a normal season the Nuggets would be on pace for 60+ wins. A blistering pace and one that George Karl all too well knows could position him high, if not at the top of the West. Every game counts.

Tonight’s 6:00pm game is already considered a sell out to watch Chris and Blake, but the Nuggets are not looking for highlight clips…. they are looking for the “W”. Vicki and I will of course welcome past Nuggets Chauncey and Reggie along with Robert Pack and Howard Eisley. But when the ball goes up… they all know who she will be cheering for.
